Avoid Nonessential Travel

- 06/08/2015 Nepal standing travel notice. CDC recommends that US residents avoid all nonessential travel to Nepal. If you must travel, such as for humanitarian aid work, then protect yourself by following CDC’s advice below.
- 06/08/2015 Ebola standing travel notice. CDC urges all US residents to avoid nonessential travel to Guinea and Sierra Leone because of unprecedented outbreaks of Ebola in those countries.

- 06/09/2015 Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus (MERS-CoV) – United Arab Emirates. On 3 June 2015, the National IHR Focal Point of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) notified WHO of 1 additional fatal case of Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus (MERS-CoV) infection.
