- Yellow Fever in Brazil. The Brazilian Ministry of Health has reported an ongoing outbreak of yellow fever starting in December 2016. In response to this outbreak, health authorities have recently expanded the list of areas in which yellow fever vaccination is recommended for travelers.
- Measles in Guinea. A measles outbreak has been reported in Guinea, with 13 of the country’s 33 prefectures affected. CDC recommends that travelers to Guinea protect themselves by making sure they are vaccinated against measles, particularly infants 6–11 months of age (1 dose of measles vaccine) and children 12 months of age or older (2 doses of measles vaccine).

- The CDC updated their Zika virus advisory for over 60 countries on March 10. Local mosquito transmission of Zika virus infection (Zika) has been reported in these regions. Local mosquito transmission means that mosquitoes in the area are infected with Zika virus and are spreading it to people.
