Avoid Nonessential Travel

CDC

  • Hurricanes Irma and Maria in the Caribbean. The CDC recommends postponing travel to severely affected areas because serious health and safety risks may be present and medical care may be limited or unavailable. Postponing travel to these areas would also prevent further straining already limited local resources.  Those who must travel, should adhere to safety recommendations.
  • Earthquakes and Hurricane in Mexico. U.S. Department of State

  • Kenya Travel Alert. The State Department alerts U.S. citizens residing in or traveling to Kenya that Kenya’s Elections Commission has announced that new Presidential elections will be held on October 26, 2017.
  • Eritrea Travel Warning. The U.S. Department of State warns U.S. citizens of the risks of travel to Eritrea.
