Security
The European Emergency Response Coordination Center reports an increase of violence in Myanmar, with at least 114 civilians killed this weekend by security forces. CNN reports on the terrorist attack in Cabo Delgado in Mozambique, that has left dozens of casualties including foreigners, and many people still unaccounted for.
Natural Disasters
The European Emergency Response Coordination Center reports severe weather in Indonesia, Malaysia and India, with thousands of people affected and buildings damaged by heavy rain, strong winds, and floods. And in Guatemala a series of moderate volcanic eruptions generated ash-fall that affected several villages and closed an international airport for 24 hrs.
Ebola
The European CDC Communicable disease threats report for week 12 indicates that no new Ebola cases have been reported in Democratic Republic of the Congo or Guinea since the previous week. The 42 day countdown to declare the outbreaks over started on March 22 and March 24 respectively.
COVID-19
International preventative measures against COVID-19, including entry restrictions and in-country mobility remain very fluid. Details for each country can be found in the travel advisories issued by the United States, Canada, the UK, and Australia
Globally, Johns Hopkins University counts 127,275,912 COVID-19 cases and 2,785,296 deaths. The World Health Organization (WHO), in its most recent weekly epidemiological update on COVID-19 notes that cases continued to rise for a fourth consecutive week, with just under 3.3 million new cases reported in the last week, with a sharp increase in cases in South East Asia, Western Pacific, European, and Eastern Mediterranean regions. 80% of cases continue to be in the European and the Americas regions.
According to the WHO weekly update, more countries continue to report variants of concern with 125 countries now reporting variant B.1.1.7, 75 reporting variant B.1.351, and 41 reporting variant P.1.
Vaccinations campaigns around the world continue. Our World in Data reports that 552 million vaccine doses have been administered globally. The WHO COVID-19 dashboard reports that as of 25 March 2021, a total of 462,824,374 vaccine doses have been administered.

Risk levels remain high for most countries as reported by the CDC and the U.S. Department of State.
