Eligibility

In order to be eligible to study abroad, students must meet the following minimum requirements:

Exchange Programs

Student must be a UT Dallas degree seeking student.
Student must be in good academic standing with a minimum 3.000 GPA at the time of application.
Student must be in good disciplinary standing.
Student must complete the application process in the Comets Abroad portal prior to departure.
Students are required to have completed at least two full-time semesters of study at UTD by the time of their intended program abroad.
Students must be enrolled full-time at UTD at the time of application.
Be able to stay at the host university for the duration of their semester, INCLUDING through their exam period.
All Non-U.S. Citizens are welcome to apply to participate in an exchange outside of their home country only. This rule applies to all who do not have a U.S. passport, including U.S. Permanent Residents.
Additional eligibility requirements may apply based on exchange partner agreements.
