Pre-Departure Risk Review

The international team of security experts, of UT System’s contracted travel and emergency assistance service provider, offers analysis on risks that exist in the region, local expertise and preventative advice. This pre-trip review is only for locations outside of the U.S.

UTD program leaders and travelers are required to request a pre-departure risk and safety trip review if their destination Needs IOC Review, and can otherwise optionally request it to be more informed about their destination. It is not an authorization of risk by UTD. Follow these 2 easy steps.

  1. Complete a Pre-Trip Itinerary Review request. This will automatically submit a request to the On Call Security Team. 
  2. Within 24 hrs, On Call will send you email confirmation your request has been received and provide a case number on the subject line of the email.
