Pre-Departure Risk Review

The international team of security experts, of UT System’s contracted travel and emergency assistance service provider, offers analysis on risks that exist in the region, local expertise and preventative advice.

UTD program leaders and travelers are required to request a pre-departure risk and safety trip review if their destination Needs IOC Review, and can otherwise optionally request it to be more informed about their destination. This risk assessment is not an authorization of risk by UTD. Follow these 2 easy steps.

  1. Complete a Pre-Trip Itinerary Review request. This will automatically submit a request to the On Call Security Team. 
  2. On Call will send you confirmation your request has been received and provide a case number.  If you requested a phone consultation, confirm your appointment when On Call emails you available times.
